Petráška (mountain hut)

A week in February on our highest mountains, but even there it wasn't very good on cross-country skis. On the other hand, it was possible to take pictures: 51 images⬀.

Technical Museum

In March, I finally made time for the National Technical Museum in Prague.

When I took my older grandsons there last summer, I immediately understood that it is not for children, but for technical amateurs like myself. It took me 6 full-day visits to go through the entire building. For example, I devoted almost the whole day to the history of the bicycle - 8 images⬀.

I met two machines there that I had the honor of riding: ČZ with manual gearshift and especially the Jawa, when I was 18.

The girls made arrangements in June and came to play and sing for us by the fire in Ořech. A nice spring delight...

Grandchildren in Bohemia

They flew in individually for the unwitting intensive teaching of the Czech language. Torren didn't make it this year.

In July, Dan was brought by his grandmother Liz, including his hockey equipment - 12 images⬀.

Zdeněk arrived in October with his father - 5 images⬀.

Border forest

I added 5 sections to my round trip through the forested borderlands of the historic Kingdom of Bohemia. The circle is slowly closing.

All that's left is the piece at the top, map⬀.

This year's additions, map⬀. Pins with a star are overnight stays.

If anyone was wondering why we didn't do it gradually this year, I just left out the milder and shorter sections for when the grandchildren arrive.

At the end of all albums, I add a QR-code with the address of the map.

Sokolov (my hometown)

Brother Vojtěch was celebrating his seventieth birthday, so we all went there (except Marta and the dogs). My brother now lives with a sympathetic horse smith, so it is not surprising that there were many horses, the hearth was burning and horseshoes were being forged. And there was plenty of homemade smoked meat to go with it. 32 images⬀.

Holiday on bikes

The region around Jablonné nad Orlicí caught our attention many years ago, when we went there for our round dining table. Now I was reminded of the beauty of the region in summer, so we went there for the third time at the end of October. For 3 days on bikes - 21 images⬀.

I found great-grandmother Alena in this year's archive only once (with her great-granddaughter Alena), so I am adding a historical one from the workplace where she felt happy.
